Although it was designed by a team in the North West the information it contains is very helpful and equally applicable to many of our patients. It focuses upon improving outcomes following major non-cardiac surgery through optimization of patient health in the preoperative period.

Our social prescribing team work with patients to improve health and wellbeing by supporting a range of social, economic and environmental factors. Social prescribing seeks to address people’s needs in a holistic way. It also aims to support individuals to take greater control of their own health.
